Before the Earth was 50% covered by glaciers and now 20% of Earths surface is covered by glacier. The reason why the percentage went down so low is because of global warming. global warming is the main cause of glaciers melting. When glaciers melt it makes avalanches which is dangerous for the people that are on the mountain because they will get buried and die which no one wants that to happen.

We need 8 oz. glasses per day but we could go less if we really needed to like if the global warming made are water bad. We could make salt water into regular water but it costs alot and some people choose money over the earth.
