How high would the water level rise when all the glaciers melt?
This is a question you will need answered if the ice continues to melt at rates it has been for the past years. Sure you might say "It's natural." or "It's not my fault.", but is it really? CO2 traps the heat of sunlight. Guess what, heat melts ice and the once floating ice has to go somewhere. Hmm, if it's floating on the ocean were possibly could the ice melt go? Ya, that's right the ocean.
Ever notice how when you pour water into a glass, the what level goes up? Now put something that doesn't float, like a rock, in the glass. When you pass the height of the rock you see it starts to go under water. Now imagine the water is the oceans of the world and the rock is the land. Add too much water and every non-aquatic creatures drowns. Hint: Humans can't breath under water.
Fact: Arctic ice helps to keep the planet cool by reflecting the suns radiation back into space. Other wise the radiation would heat the oceans, causing even more havoc.
