The Assignment

The class will create a collection of pages about glaciers and how they are affected by climate change.

Each group will be two or three students who will compose a single page answering two or three assigned questions about glaciers.


Each group’s page should answer questions with:
  • 2-3 paragraphs
  • at least one map
  • at least two illustrations
  • include two relevant source links.
Add on one “cool glacier fact”.
Also, each group will submit two questions to guide their classmates' reading and learning.

 Title: clearly state the question(s) you are answering


8 pt.
 Content: minimum of 2 paragraphs that answer the question in the title.

5 pts: relevance and thoroughness of information
2 pts: editing for grammar and spelling
1 pts: formatted into clear sentences and paragraphs


4 pt.
 Two illustrations (picture, graphic, video, etc.):

4 pt: relevant illustrations are described with a caption or explanation within the text
3 pt: relevant illustrations, but not described well
2 pt: illustrations of glaciers, but not otherwise relevant
1 pt: illustrations are posted, but are not otherwise relevant or explained


2 pt.
 Source link: include 2... Wikipedia is NOT ALLOWED
